What?

Each week we open our doors for anyone who needs food to go through the pantry, choosing items from each section (protein, dairy, fruits & vegetables, bread, desserts).

The SLCFP rents space from Bethel Community

The community rooms behind the church are in an "L" shape. We are in the corner of the "L".

Getting food.

Regular Pick Up: Thursdays 6:00-8 PM
People can come anytime between 6:00-8pm to pick up food. If you can, it's best to come after 6:45pm so the line is shorter.

If someone can not wait in line, they can come up to the registration desk starting at 5:15pm. They will get a number for a volunteer to shop for them.

If you plan to come at the beginning, then you should arrive at 5:15pm to get a number.

• Line up on the sidewalk near the parking lot entrance (look for the start here sign).
• We will hand out numbers at random at 5:15
• Clients may get #1 or #100
• We will call people in to get food in that order; everyone will get food!
• One number per person picking up food; you cannot share numbers with your friends/family.
• Please do not arrive before 5pm. There will be no advantage to arriving early.  
• People who arrive after numbers are given out will be served in the order they arrive. Line up at the "Start Here" sign.

First Time.

The first time you come we will assist new guests in a quick registration process. We'll ask you for your name, address, how many adults and children are in your household, and a few other questions. 
It's helpful to bring your own cart and/or bags to carry your food.

Pet Food.

Thanks to a partnership with the East Bay SPCA we provide Cat and Dog food every 2nd and 4th Thursday. Guest are asked to complete the same registration as our human food grocery distribution and follow the same line up procedure as above.
